Giant Robot is proud to present Chip Beef, Chipped Tooth, an art show featuring new works by Jeremy Tinder and Grant Reynolds.

Jeremy Tinder lives in Chicago, where he teaches Indie Comics and Self-Publishing at the Art Institute of Chicago. In addition to creating humorous yet touching graphic novels, including Cry Yourself To Sleep and his Black Ghost Apple Factory, he creates bold, graphic, colorful, and somewhat narrative paintings that reflect the more psychotic and stylish elements of postwar advertising mascots and children's books.

Grant Reynolds is another Chicago artist, who has contributed to many anthologies and produced his own comics over the years, and keeps a website which features a page of "tour drawings" (sketchbook pieces). His dense style is reminiscent of '70s underground comix in which artists would obsessively fill every inch of art, creating a somewhat dark, richly textured, and often psychedelic world.
