Its unfortunate, but true... Philip Lumbangs murals face threats that normally are reserved for the gang affiliated graffiti, or otherwise less narrative graffiti markings. The mural he did on our side door here at GRSF had to be painted over, as the city does not allow for 'graffiti' to be posted on businesses... and now in LA, Lumbang's mural over in Silverlake is in danger of being covered....
Just more of a reason to get one of his art pieces in our current show, 'Little Bit of this, Little bit of that...', cause at least then you can keep his work from being covered!
